There are many, many rules and regulations on the books to help make the work environment fair, diverse and non discriminatory. However, some of the traditional practices many managers assume to be acceptable are… in fact illegal. When an employee situation becomes inflamed, these practices can come back to haunt the manager and create liability for the company.

Clemons will present this topic in a fun, illustrative and unique style that previously has been known to include traditional "bardic" folk songs. John Clemons Biography

John Clemons, Founder & CEO of LearnKey, Inc – St. George, Utah – started the company in 1987 by producing an instructional VHS video on WordPerfect for DOS featuring a local expert. From those early days, LearnKey has grown to offer over 1000 training titles on computer topics including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through C# and ASP Programming to Cisco Switching and Wireless Certification programs. The training titles are offered in CD-ROM, DVD and online e-learning versions, all still based on video instruction from industry experts.

LearnKey has recently targeted new markets by producing training products in the Employment Law Compliance, Productivity, Management and Leadership subject areas. All products are produced and distributed through offices in Utah, Florida, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand and Lithuania.

Clemons is a self proclaimed "serial entrepreneur" having help start and grow several companies in St. George, Utah including the local Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki Motorcycle Dealership, InfoWest the largest Internet Service Provider in Southern Utah, an advertising agency, and has restored a vintage1927 theater into the Main Street Theater and Ballroom which is utilized as a reception center.
